Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu issued a message on the occasion of Regaip Kandili, which heralds the beginning of the blessed three months.

Emphasizing the importance of this special night in terms of social unity and spiritual peace, President Palancıoğlu included the following expressions in his message:

"We are happy to have reached Regaip Kandili, which heralds the beginning of the three months known in our religion as Recep, Şaban, and Ramazan. This meaningful night is a spiritual opportunity for humankind. The entire Islamic world should benefit from the blessings and abundance of these blessed days and nights. With this night, we have reached the blessed and merciful three months offered to us by Allah, and the 11 months..." We have felt the spirituality of the holy month of Ramadan upon us. I hope that these blessed times, in which an atmosphere of forgiveness and blessings prevails, will be an opportunity for us to strengthen our bonds of unity, togetherness, and brotherhood. With these feelings and thoughts, I congratulate the Regaip Night of all the Islamic world, especially my fellow citizens of Melikgazi, and I wish that it will be a source of good for our city, our country, our nation, and our fellow citizens."
