Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, who issued a message on the occasion of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, congratulated all children on their holiday and said that they have implemented many projects for them in the district.

Stating that they see leaving a beautiful future for children, the guarantee of the future, as an important duty and great responsibility, Mayor Palancıoğlu said, "We celebrate the 106th anniversary of the opening of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, the symbol of our independence, and the 23rd April National Sovereignty and Children's Day, the first and only holiday in the world dedicated to children, with great pride and happiness. Our national holidays like the 23rd April are days when we strengthen our unity and togetherness, when we are one as a nation. As Melikgazi Municipality, we are working to prepare brighter and stronger tomorrows for our children. Their happiness is our happiness. We have implemented many projects for our children, the guarantee of our bright future. Fairy Tale House and Our Toy Library, our brain library, our schools, our parks, our courses, and many other projects serve our children. We are doing everything we can to ensure that our children become healthy, educated, well-equipped, talented individuals who are sensitive to their environment and nature. On this occasion, I commemorate with prayers the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and his comrades-in-arms, who gifted April 23rd to our children, and I celebrate our April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day.” he said.
