Melikgazi Municipality Mehmet Altun Aviation and Space Technologies Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School was introduced as part of a parent and student information program.
The high school, which is among the Melikgazi Municipality's visionary projects, has attracted considerable attention.
Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. stated that the Melikgazi Municipality will fully support the school. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, in his statement to parents and students, made the following statement:
Among 12 Selected Schools in Turkey TO TAKE
Mayor Palancıoğlu stated that the Melikgazi Municipality Mehmet Altun Aviation and Space Technologies Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School is a great service in itself, and continued:
“We have provided 5,500,000 TL in financial support for projects at TEKNOFEST for the last three years. I hope this support will continue here. We will provide our students with English preparatory classes in the first year; it will be an intensive education. I also hope to teach English classes occasionally. We are the municipality that has built the most schools in Turkey, but if only this school remained, leaving aside all the other schools, it would be the best service provided during our time. These children, God willing, will contribute to the future of Turkey when they grow up. From the American College, Robert May God grant that we will have children like Selçuk Bayraktar, who graduated from Kayseri High School and Kayseri High School and who will shape Turkey. We are building dormitories so that families living around Kayseri can send their children. Beyond furniture and steel doors in Kayseri, we also want to achieve an industrial culture that makes new investments in the aviation sector. This year, we will enroll 48 students. We will furnish the workshops, and they will receive excellent training in these workshops. It is important to have the Air Supply and Maintenance Center, TOMTAŞ, right next to us, and to have competent production staff and to ensure that this work will be carried out under their auspices. Another important point is that 12 schools in Turkey will receive special support under the Diamond Model through a protocol signed between the Presidency of Defense Industries and the Ministry of National Education. Our aviation high school is among these schools. The protocol we will soon sign will include all defense industry companies, such as TEİ and TUSAŞ. and companies in Kayseri will begin providing support. This is a very important development for us. In addition to furnishing the workshops, we will also build a gym and a dormitory. There will probably be many customers from outside Kayseri. If we can convey our excitement to the students and parents, a truly wonderful project will begin here. I believe that years from now, the students of this school will play an important role in Turkey's future. Best of luck.
