The municipal staff welcomed and congratulated Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, who has been nominated again for the March 31 Local Elections in Melikgazi by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, before the start of their working hours.

      Mayor Palancıoğlu, who stated that they will collectively raise the service standard even higher in Melikgazi, said, "I thank my valuable colleagues for this wonderful surprise. Hopefully, if it is destined, we will work day and night together for our district for another 5 years. We are one of the municipalities that provide the most services in Turkey. Together, we have achieved record services. When we join hands, there is nothing we cannot do for our country. I thank you for your diligent work over the past 5 years. There is an 80% satisfaction rate in the surveys. This success has been achieved through your dedicated efforts. I hope that a new era is beginning for Melikgazi. With our Turkey Century vision and our goals that will carry Melikgazi forward, we will continue on our path without faltering or getting tired. We will continue to work tirelessly for our country, our province, and our district. With our genuine municipal mission, we will further strengthen the visionary, entrepreneurial understanding of municipal governance. Over the past 5 years, in addition to our visionary projects, we have brought hundreds of projects to our district in areas such as culture, sports, education, social services, transportation, green initiatives, and urban renewal. While preserving our district is historical and cultural heritage and implementing services that touch the hearts of our residents, we have also not forgotten that we have a dynamic, young population. We have achieved many record-breaking services for our district.Hopefully, by joining forces once again for another 5 years, we will continue to deliver record-breaking services and work tirelessly for Melikgazi. I would like to express my gratitude to our esteemed President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, for considering me worthy of being the Melikgazi Mayor candidate once again.
