On March 31, 2024, in the Local Administration General Elections, re-elected Melikgazi Municipality Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu received his mandate at the Kayseri Courthouse Conference Hall.

Mayor Palancıoğlu received his mandate from the President of the Judicial Commission of First Instance Courts, Hacı Mustafa Yazıcı, and the Chairman of the Melikgazi 1st Election Board, Adem Çakmak.

Mayor Palancıoğlu, wishing success for the local elections, expressed his gratitude to our esteemed Bünyamin Altuntaş, the Director of the Supreme Electoral Council, to our respected Adem Çakmak, Chairman of the 1st Election Board, to Kemal Ulu, Chairman of the 2nd Election Board, to Aslıhan Beydilli Kınık , Chairman of the 3rd Election Board, and to all judicial employees for their dedicated efforts during the election process. May the results of the local elections on March 31, 2024, be auspicious and prosperous for us. I hope that we will continue our path in Melikgazi for the second term. With our newly elected council members, we will serve our district in the best possible way.

After receiving the mandate, I removed my party badge and, hand in hand with all party colleagues, pledged to serve Melikgazi harmoniously for the next five years. I extend my gratitude to our supporting members of parliament, AK Party and MHP provincial and district chairpersons, our organization members, and our citizens. Thank you to everyone. During this time, one of our feet will be in Ankara. We will also be following up on our affairs in Ankara to bring to life the projects we promised for Melikgazi over the next five years. Our commitment to serving our district remains steadfast. Our projects encompass visionary initiatives that we hope will set an example for the whole of Turkey. Our fellow citizens will hopefully benefit from these projects in the best possible way. I extend my thanks to the newly appointed council members who will commence their duties today and wish them success in their new roles. Together, in unity and solidarity, we will serve our city, our district, and our country. I also extend my best wishes for success to the newly elected council members. I would like to express my gratitude to the council members who have walked with us in the previous term but are now departing from us, for their service and dedication.
