Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu issued a message on the occasion of Mother's Day on May 10. In his message, Mayor Palancıoğlu emphasized that mothers are the cornerstone of society and the epitome of love, stating that motherly love is irreplaceable and saying: “Our mothers, who raised us with countless difficulties and are the epitome of love and compassion, are the most important people in the world we live in..." They are our paradise. They are our most cherished treasures, to be remembered with respect not just for one day, but for a lifetime. Mother's love is the purest and deepest feeling a person can experience in this world. I wish health, well-being, and peace to all our mothers who are blessed with the Prophet's saying, "Paradise lies at the feet of mothers." I celebrate the day of all our selfless mothers, especially our heroic martyr mothers who gave their children to the land for the sake of the homeland.
