Mayor Mustafa Palancıoğlu, stating that the residents of Sarımsaklı Neighborhood came together in unity and solidarity at the festival, said, “We built a beautiful social facility in Sarımsaklı. Since today is the rice festival, we quickly finished our facility, but our work will continue. Hopefully, our asphalt, sidewalk and other works will be completed soon. We will hold our main opening ceremony together with the natural gas. Thank you to our Headman Can Öcal for organizing a beautiful rice festival; we also supported him. May God keep our unity strong. We are identifying the needs of our neighborhood. You, who live in the rural neighborhood, have given us love with your sincerity and hearts. As Melikgazi Municipality, we are carrying out urban transformation work in exactly 10 areas. We are building the most schools in Turkey. "We are a municipality. The number of schools has reached nearly 30. The future of our children is very important to us. We have built 18 'Brain Cube Libraries'. We have built social facilities in many places, like the one we built here. Your presence at this event is important for our unity and solidarity. It is very important that our culture is passed on to the next generation. I would like to thank our Sarımsaklı Neighborhood Headman, Mr. Can Öcal, and everyone who contributed to this beautiful event." he said.
