The Mayor of Melikgazi  Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu and Melikgazi District Governor Bülent Karacan met with the neighbourhood mukhtars of Melikgazi district listened to their demands.

        During the meetings, the headmen identified the demands and carried out the services in consultation with The Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu,"Our Melikgazi district is a large densely populated district. We regularly meet with neighbourhood mukhtars in Melikgazi district as a municipality.

We organize meetings with our mukhtars, determine their demands and wishes, and carry out services and investments in consultation. We will continue to work together for our Melikgazi and create solutions to problems together. We have divided our Melikgazi into 7 regions. We provide services to each of our regions in accordance with the needs. Our mukhtars are our eyes and ears in our neighbourhoods. In a sense, they have a function that is both a representative of the people and a representative of us. In this context, we produce and implement solutions by listening to the demands and needs of our neighbourhoods primarily from our headmen.  We will continue to work as Melikgazi Municipality to fulfil the demands with the understanding of on-site service." said.

      Melikgazi District Governor Bulent Karacan said,"We held our November meeting with our mukhtars. As the District Governor's office, we always conduct negotiations with our headmen in our region, listen to the demands of the issues of the neighbourhoods, and consult on what needs to be done. " said.

  

      Neighbourhood mukhtars also took part in the meeting and expressed issues related to the demands and needs of their neighbourhoods.
