Stating that they will bring a breath of fresh air to the city by constructing a large park on a 6000-square-meter area in Hunat Neighbourhood, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu mentioned that they have started planting new vegetation for the landscaping of the park.

Mayor Palancıoğlu, stating that they are working in every field and bringing many services to the citizens in Melikgazi, said, 'We are right in the heart of the city, in Hunat. Here, we have created a beautiful park on a 6000-square-meter area. We have brought new plants from Yalova. We are starting to design the landscaping with these plants. Beautifying the centre of the city is important to us. I mentioned this in the 2019 elections. We said that the centre of the city is our guest room. We are working on Gön Han, and the restoration is about to be completed.' In Hunat, we have extensive work underway as part of urban transformation. We have relocated the old school from here to a new location. We will transform Nazmi Toker's old building into Kayseri's most beautiful Art and Culture Centre. We will have various events here, hopefully. We will enliven the city center with various concerts and programs. We have colourful plants here. We are not just planting trees; we will also bring together these beautiful colourful plants with the soil in this park. We will also integrate Köşk Medrese and Gön Han with these plants. Therefore, we will carry out such beautiful works in the places we have restored and in parks as well. A beautiful space has emerged in the Hunat region with its parking lot, greenery, and art workshop. May it be auspicious. May Allah grant us the opportunity to carry out such works in unity and solidarity.
