Representing Turkey, Local and Regional Governments of the Council of Europe 41. Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu, who is in Strasbourg, France, for the General Assembly, expressed Turkey's priorities at the meeting.

The Mayor Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu, who participated in the General Assembly on behalf of Turkey, “I am trying to represent our country in the best way in the Council of Europe. As a delegation of Turkey to the Council of Europe, which has important missions in the field of Local Governments, we strongly express our country's priorities. Prior to the General Assembly Meeting, we held our preliminary coordination meeting with our delegation members. We attended the reception given by our Ambassador Mr. Kaan Esener, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Turkey to Strasbourg, to the National Delegation of Turkey. At this session of the meeting, we conveyed the attitudes and views of our delegation on issues such as Migration and Refugees, Cyprus and the Employment of Younger Generations to the participants.We are continuing our contacts with great effort to get results for the benefit of our country and all our local governments. Monday October 25th, our meeting started and Thursday October 28 will be completed. I wish that the decisions to be taken at the General Assembly Meeting will be auspicious." said.

       The Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Palancıoğlu, as always, we will represent Turkey best with our studies and projects, and we will work hard to protect Turkey's interests, he said.
