Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, inspected the final status of the Afife-H. Mehmet Tanç Primary School, which they completed in a short period of approximately 7 months together with philanthropist Adem Tanç in Yıldırım Beyazıt Neighborhood, and gave the good news that they will also build a middle school next to the school.

Stating that they continue to build schools as the municipality that builds the most schools in Türkiye, Mayor Palancıoğlu said, “As Melikgazi Municipality, we continue to build new, high-quality schools in the district and strengthen our schools with modern equipment. We completed the Afife-H. Mehmet Tanç primary school in Yıldırım Beyazıt Neighborhood in exactly 7 months. We are building another school right next to it. We have completed our new tender for this. A primary school and a secondary school will be ready here. We are carrying out many urban transformation projects in Yıldırım Beyazıt. There is a dense population in this area. The right side of our school is Sivas Street, and the left side is Mustafa Şimşek Boulevard. Therefore, the need for schools has increased with the construction here. We are building this school with our benefactor Adem Tanç. We, as the municipality, covered half of the cost, and the other half was covered by our benefactor. We will also build a school right next to this one, in the name of Adem Tanç's sister. Again, we, as the municipality, are covering half of the construction cost, and Mr. Adem will cover the other half. We are the municipality that has built the most schools and the most libraries in Türkiye. I thank my team members; they are giving me great support. Middle School Will Also Start Soon…

The middle school, which will be built on a construction area of ​​1856 square meters right next to the primary school, will have 12 classrooms and will consist of a ground floor and a first floor. The middle school will include a canteen, guidance counseling service, multipurpose hall, school parent association, administrative offices, subject group rooms, and a laboratory.
