Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, the Mayor of Melikgazi Municipality, held a meeting to discuss the services he plans to carry out in Melikgazi over the next 5 years. He stated that they would introduce a variety of projects to the district in the new term.

Mayor Palancıoğlu, emphasizing that they are a municipality implementing both social and physical projects, stated that they have plans and new projects for the upcoming term. He said, 'We started working in the early hours of the morning with our vice presidents, directors, and colleagues. We have laid out our beautiful projects that we will implement in Melikgazi over the next 5 years.' Between 2019 and 2024, we have made significant investments in Turkey, without incurring any interest expenses or debt, and have implemented many projects that will make Melikgazi an exemplary district. We have constructed schools, health centres, social facilities, libraries, mosques, and parks, and planted thousands of trees. We have indeed undertaken a variety of projects and touched every neighbourhood. Moving forward, we aim to continue meeting the needs of our neighbourhoods over the next 5 years, while also executing the most successful urban renewal projects in Turkey, setting a benchmark for others to follow. I hope that in this term, we will accelerate urban transformation efforts by expanding the spectrum into different areas. I thank my colleagues for their dedication.
