Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. At the "All-Aspects Urban Transformation Summit," which brought together local governments, public institutions, foundations, and industry stakeholders from across Turkey in Kayseri, Mustafa Palancıoğlu provided information about Melikgazi's exemplary and benchmark urban transformation projects.

Mayor Palancıoğlu noted that numerous representatives and mayors from numerous provinces attended the summit. "At the summit, organized in Kayseri in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the Urban Transformation Presidency, the Metropolitan Municipality, and the Urban Transformation and Urbanization Foundation, we shared our knowledge and experience with the participants regarding the urban transformation projects we have implemented and will be implementing in Melikgazi." In Melikgazi, we're not just transforming buildings. Neighborhoods are being transformed. We're providing services like boutique schools, health centers, libraries, mosques, and parks in these areas. In fact, it's beneficial to approach urban transformation like a neighborhood transformation. Urban transformation in Kayseri is being carried out as a neighborhood transformation, with all its social amenities. Urban transformation is carried out with great effort, including signatures, agreements, and transfers. It's a difficult and lengthy undertaking. It requires great dedication. We're carrying out urban transformation in eight districts in Melikgazi. We've expanded our efforts to include 14 districts, hopefully. We've accelerated our efforts, especially after the earthquake. Urban transformation needs to be implemented not only by municipalities but also by contractors.
