Mayor Palancıoğlu celebrated the day with female staff members by coming together and extending his greetings.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu and his wife Emel Palancıoğlu came together with the female staff members working in various departments of the municipality on March 8th, International Women's Day, to congratulate them on their day. Starting his speech by congratulating all women on International Women's Day, Mayor Palancıoğlu said, "Women are the individuals who ensure the continuity of the family institution. The more equipped and well-educated a woman is, the better the position of society becomes. We have brought many valuable services to Melikgazi and Kayseri, especially through numerous projects aimed at women. Alongside many female employees in Melikgazi Municipality, we serve our city. Good work elevates us to better positions, so I thank you all very much. Wherever and whatever women touch, there is success, as they are the most unifying element of society. I believe women should be present in every field and represented at every level. Our women, who are the cornerstone of families and society, honor every moment of life with their presence, provide unwavering support, educate, nurture, and selflessly give love and affection from their hearts, are not just important for one day but every day for us. With these sentiments, I extend my wishes to all women, including the wives and mothers of martyrs who sacrifice without hesitation for our homeland, on International Women's Day."

Mayor Palancıoğlu, in commemoration of the day, presented flowers to all women on behalf of Melikgazi Municipality.
