Melikgazi Municipality Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, made a statement on the occasion of the upcoming Eid al-Adha and congratulated the entire Islamic world on Eid al-Adha.

Stating that holidays are exceptional days when feelings of love, respect, solidarity and sharing reach their highest level, President Palancıoğlu said the following in his statement:

"Thank God we have reached Eid al-Adha. Holidays are beautiful and important days of unity, togetherness, coming together, reconciliation of those who are estranged, and visiting elders. May Allah Almighty reward you for all that you have done..." May Allah accept your worship and sacrifice, and may He grant us to reach many more beautiful holidays with our families in unity, togetherness and peace. As Melikgazi Municipality, we are supporting the slaughter of sacrificial animals at 23 locations. At the same time, the cleaning and disinfection of these places are also being carried out. Our sacrificial animal sales area and slaughter area in Mimarsinan are also ready for cattle and sheep. May Allah grant us a safe and peaceful Eid al-Adha. I pray that our sacrificial worship will be accepted; and I hope that the holiday will bring peace, tranquility and abundance to our city, our country and all of humanity. Happy Eid al-Adha."
