Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu visited the tomato paste boiling area they serve in the Kocatepe neighborhood of Belsin.

Melikgazi Municipality, which is holding Tomato Paste Days events in three different areas of Melikgazi: Belsin, Eskişehir Bağları, and Mimarsinan, provides tomato paste boiling opportunities in a clean and sterile environment, without disturbing residents, smoke, dirt, or odor.

Mayor Palancıoğlu, stating that such events are important in terms of reinforcing unity and solidarity in the 2025 family year, made the following statement regarding tomato paste:

“As part of the Tomato Paste Days event, which we have been holding for years as part of Melikgazi Municipality, we are in the Kocatepe neighborhood of the Belsin district. We fully embrace our Belsin region, and we also have friends from other neighborhoods here. Satisfaction is very high. I thank my colleagues; they are truly working very hard. From selling tomatoes to selling wood. They organize everything from the copper cauldron to the salt. They serve our citizens from washing and chopping tomatoes to transporting them. May God bless them all. It's especially important to be together, especially since 2025 is the Year of the Family. Here, our citizens have picnics as a family, gather together, boil their tomato paste, roast their potatoes, roast their eggplants, and make sausage and bread. This creates a bond. May God Almighty perpetuate our unity and solidarity. May He grant us the opportunity to hold such events in health and peace for many years to come.
