Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu met with the youth in Eşref Bitlis Park and listened to the demands of the youth to renew the skateboard track in the park and promised them a new track.

Stating that as Melikgazi Municipality, many activities and projects are carried out for young people, Mayor Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, “Our young people wrote to us on social media to renew the skateboarding track in Eşref Bitlis Park.

We got together with them today, watched their skateboarding shows and listened to their demands. Our young people want it, don't we? Our brother Batuhan, who has degrees in the field of skateboarding in Turkey, requested that the track be renewed, and we gladly accepted. They also have to strictly follow the rules required to use the skate park. We continue to realize our new projects together with our young people in Melikgazi and to produce projects that meet their needs. I think the sport of skateboarding will go much further. Sports and socializing are the most natural rights of our youth. We do our best to make them happy. We have a lot of young people in our district who are engaged in sports. We are a municipality that listens and understands young people. In this park, our young people both do sports and spend a pleasant time socializing with their friends who are engaged in the same sports. We have always had a management approach that listens to young people and cares about their ideas. With these kinds of activities in the parks, our children can release their energy. The beautiful thing is that our children can get away from the streets or the internet at home and get rid of their energy in these areas and strengthen their muscles because it is an active branch. It both empties their minds and contributes to the development of their bodies. We will continue to do everything we can to ensure that young people are comfortable and peaceful.” said.
