Expressing his deeply sorry, Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "We are deeply saddened by the loss of doyen Veli Altınkaya, who was a journalist who worked in Kayseri and was the president of the Journalists Association and was also the president of the Journalists Association for three terms.He is a successful journalist who has been the Kayseri representative of TRT for 22 years. Until recently, he was a brother with whom we met in his health, chatted and held various consultations.But later, unfortunately, he succumbed to the corona virus with organ failure. Rest in peace.
