Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu celebrated the day of coeliac disease patients by making a statement due to May World Coeliac Day.

Coeliac is a gluten and food-related disease. A vegetable protein called gluten in grains such as wheat, barley, rye, oats causes this disease. Therefore, unfortunately, many of our brothers and sisters suffer because it is a disease that is becoming more and more widespread. They have to be very selective about eating. They do not eat gluten products. We, as Melikgazi Municipality, give coeliac patients a food parcel that they find very difficult to find. I congratulate the World Coeliac Day on May 9.
