       In this context, 1,309 people attended the Melikgazi sauce Days and completed their winter preparations.

       Saying that they are happy to continue the tradition as a municipality, the Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, “We are trying to make different projects that will make our citizens smile as well as roads, asphalt, pavements, cultural centres, health centres and schools. We are working to keep our traditions alive.We organized tomato sauce days in two different regions in our district. As every year, we have created special areas this year in order to prevent the smoke and soot generated during tomato sauce boiling from causing discomfort to our neighbours. We started on August 23 in Mimarsinan Evliyalar District. On August 30, the tomato sauce days that we started in Belsin Kocatepe continue. So far, 1,309 people have participated in the Melikgazi sauce Days and prepared for the winter. During the Tomato Sauce Days, the people of Melikgazi make their winter preparations effortlessly. We receive a lot of complaints from our citizens during the tomato sauce period. Between the buildings, our citizens continue their old traditions and boil tomato sauce.
