1st International Poetry Festival was Held

Melikgazi Municipality, which continues to bring together district residents with poetry, theater, interviews, music and cinema through its activities, organized the 1st International Poetry Festival with the participation of poets from many cities and countries with the support of the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism and in cooperation with KAYSADER.

Stating that they organize culture and arts events in many fields as Melikgazi Municipality, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “I hope that our 1st National and International Poetry Festival will be auspicious. There are masters of poetry like Sezai Karakoç and Necip Fazıl Kısakürek. For some people, poetry is a gift from God. It is extremely important that our poet brothers and sisters with such beautiful talents meet here. Therefore, this event we organized with the Kayseri Writers Poets and Artists Association (KAYSADER) with the support of our Culture and Tourism Directorate is important. There are many great values ​​among us that we do not know. It is valuable for us to honor these values, even if only a little, in these programs. This was the first program, but it will continue to grow. Because it is international, we have many brothers and sisters from outside Kayseri.
