Melikgazi Municipality Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu has invited all residents of Kayseri to support the Melikgazi Kayseri Basketball team against London Lions in the EuroCup Women's match.

Reminding that they have demonstrated a vision in every field in Melikgazi and have accomplished beautiful projects in the district, Mayor Palancıoğlu stated, "In Melikgazi, we attach great importance to cultural, artistic, and sports activities. In this context, our Melikgazi Kayseri Basketball team continues to make us happy and proud with their successes. Our Melikgazi Kayseri Basketball team, which advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating the Hungarian representative NKA Universitas Pecs in the EuroCup Women's Round of 16, will face the British team London Lions. If our team defeats London Lions, they will face the Latvian team TTT Riga in the semi-finals, who are in the same group. I hope that the end of the road will be the championship. Our support for sports and athletes will continue unabated in Melikgazi. I wish success to our team in this challenging match. The match will be free of charge.
