Melikgazi Municipality, which rewrote the unfinished story in Kayseri with the “Aviation and Space Technologies Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School” it established in the area where Turkey's first aircraft factory was founded, will organize the Kayseri Aircraft Factory Interview Program.
Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. invites everyone to the program, which will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd at 16:00 in the Melikgazi Municipality Assembly Hall.
Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “Kayseri’s aviation history, which began with TOMTAŞ (Turkish Aircraft and Engine Company), the first aircraft factory established in 1926 and later halted production for various reasons, has begun to be rewritten with Melikgazi Municipality’s Mehmet Altun Aviation and Space Sciences High School. Hopefully, aviation history is rising again from where it began in Kayseri. We are doing everything we can in our city to support the development of the aviation sector and the defense industry. Our support continues. In this context, we are continuing our technical and cultural work. We will be organizing a talk program titled ‘Kayseri Aircraft Factory’ with the participation of the former Rector of Erciyes University, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Şahin, as a speaker, hosted by Melikgazi Municipality. We believe that this talk, to which young people and everyone interested in aviation are especially invited, will create awareness and inspire everyone interested in aviation. Kayseri Aircraft "We welcome all our fellow citizens who want to witness the aviation adventure of our factory to our program," he said.
