Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, the Mayor of Melikgazi Municipality, bid farewell to aid trucks dispatched to the earthquake-stricken residents in Yeşilyurt district of Malatya, which is a sister municipality.

Reminding that they have sent over 1000 aid trucks to the earthquake-affected citizens in the affected provinces since the first day of the earthquake, Mayor Palancıoğlu stated, 'As the Kayseri Earthquake Coordination Centre, due to the arrival of winter, we are delivering new aid to our sister municipality, Malatya Yeşilyurt. This aid includes beds, blankets, quilts, pillows, and other materials. We will also visit our earthquake-affected brothers and sisters there. Our Kayseri Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone, as well as Mimarsinan and İncesu Industrial Zones, and the Turkish Red Crescent, have been delivering aid in a coordinated manner since the first day of the earthquake to reach those affected. Now, we are sending five more trucks of aid materials. While delivering these aids, we express our gratitude to Kayseri Chamber of Industry, Kayseri Chamber of Commerce, Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone, Mimarsinan and İncesu Industrial Zones, KAYMOS, Turkish Red Crescent, our industrialists, and everyone who supported us in transportation. I especially thank my colleagues. Since February 6th, our support to the earthquake-affected areas has never waned. We set up markets in Adıyaman and Elbistan; we established two separate living spaces, container cities, in the center of Kahramanmaraş. We are continuously sending aid. As a nation, united and together, we will continue to heal such wounds. May Allah protect us from such disasters. May the path of our trucks be clear.
