Melikgazi Municipality has started the expected restoration work in the historical Kazancılar Bazaar, one of the busiest spots in Kayseri. After the works are completed, Kazancılar Bazaar will have an aesthetic appearance worthy of history.

             Emphasizing that Kazancılar Bazaar is an important value for Kayseri and that they will beautify the bazaar, Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, “We are in Kazancılar Bazaar, which is the apple of the eye of Kayseri, in the centre of Kayseri. Our restoration work, which will change the face of Kazancılar Bazaar, started as of last week. Scaffolding has been set up; we have started our upper ceiling work. Here, we do our work in the evening hours in order not to tire our tradesmen and not to interfere with their work. I hope that we will try to complete the works before the rain comes. I hope the bazaar will enter a different format with the arrangement we will make in the winners. A lot of tourists and expats come here. When expats come again next year, they will encounter a different Kazancılar Bazaar. It will be a more orderly, cleaner, more decent environment. Therefore, our work, which started in earnings, will continue throughout the centre. May Allah give good and abundant sustenance to all our tradesmen here. Kayseri is truly a beautiful city to live in. In order to make it even more beautiful, we are renewing the worn-out spots that are used a lot and making them more beautiful.
