Melikgazi Municipality successfully completed an external audit conducted by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) within the scope of its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, which it implements to improve service quality, maintain its corporate processes in accordance with international standards, and strengthen its management approach based on citizen satisfaction.

The audit process was conducted under the coordination of the Strategy Development Unit, and practices related to the establishment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Melikgazi Municipality's quality management system were audited. During the audits, many topics such as process management, performance monitoring, documentation, internal control mechanisms, risk-based approach, and institutional functioning were evaluated in detail.

The audits were conducted by the TSE Kayseri Regional Directorate audit team. Following interviews with municipal units and field inspections, it was determined that the quality management system was effectively implemented and that the Melikgazi Municipality met the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated that, in line with the observations and recommendations obtained from the TSE audit process, Melikgazi Municipality will continue its meticulous improvement efforts to further enhance its institutional quality structure. He stated that the municipality will continue to implement a quality-focused management approach based on efficiency and sustainability in its service processes.
