Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated that landscaping, parking, new road and sidewalk works are being carried out in the Gülük Neighborhood, which is the center of the city, in order to make it more organized, more comfortable.

After inspecting the works on site, Mayor Palancıoğlu, reminding that works will be carried out that will touch every region in the district, said the following:

"Spring and summer are a more intensive work period for us, meaning more road and sidewalk construction and more service. We are in Güllük Neighborhood, which is the city center and where the old settlement is dense. A large-scale environmental cleaning, urban renewal, new road, and new sidewalk works have been carried out in this area. My team members carried out these works here very quickly. Hopefully, we will asphalt it starting tomorrow. We will carry out very important works this summer to relieve both traffic and parking areas in the city center. This work is one of them. I thank our colleagues who contributed. As Melikgazi Municipality, we will carry out roads, parking lots, and city projects. We are working intensively on issues such as organizing the appearance of the center. Hopefully, we will carry out work that will touch every region and address the shortcomings of every region.
