One of the most notable projects planned by Melikgazi Municipality Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu for the years 2024-2029 is the Camp Centre, which will not only add value to Kayseri but also attract tourists.

Mayor Palancıoğlu, stating that they will build a camp centre like no other in Kayseri, said, "Our Camp Center will be located close to Erciyes, where especially businessmen, groups, and schools can use it for various education and activities throughout the year. I believe it will be a beautiful project that will make an impact in Turkey and promote tourism. In the initial phase, this place will feature 50 bungalow houses accommodating four and six people each. Our camp centre, which will be open 365 days a year, will be completed this year. It is one of the projects that excites me the most. The main centre building will include meeting rooms, training halls, restaurants, and a nursery. Those who want to organize group events, either from Kayseri or outside the city, can come here to camp and spend time with their families. Alternatively, educational institutions can utilize it as a training camp. Tourists who come to Erciyes for skiing can also camp here. We will implement a financial management system for the first time by a municipality in Turkey at this camp centre. I hope that it will be one of the projects that will add the most value to Kayseri.
