Many children participated with their families in the Ramadan event organized by Melikgazi Municipality under the name of “My First Fast, My First Iftar”, which was started in Altınoluk Neighbourhood for the first time.

        Hundreds of children participating in the program had fun with colourful activities. Melikgazi Mayor, who told the children that they would have a completely different kind of Ramadan this year, said. Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu said, "We experienced the joy of Iftar with hundreds of our children. We celebrated iftar in our Barış Pınarı Event Area with our children and their families who held their first fast and shared the blessings of Ramadan with the happiness of our children. Ramadan is the sultan of the eleven months, which most beautifully reflects the beauties of Islam, reminds of the importance of worship, charity, unity and togetherness. We want to keep this beauty alive and for future generations to experience these beauties. I also want families to support their children to keep this beautiful value alive. We have built eight libraries for our children, opened six technology workshops. We will have events related to sports, music and trainings for you throughout the summer.
