Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said that the historical fountains within the boundaries of Melikgazi district were repaired and the historical fountains were restored to their former identity.

           Reminding that there are historical fountains within the boundaries of Melikgazi district, Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, “ Melikgazi District is also considered as the historical identity of Anatolia. Because the important and great works of historical artifacts existing in the province of Kayseri are within the borders of our district. Our old street fountains have disappeared and even the location of many of them is unknown. However, the locations of all of them are clear in the city plan. With the images in old publications, photographs and other documents, these fountains will be built in accordance with the original and the clean, clear and cold water of our Erciyes Mountain will continue to flow from their taps.            Stating that the Hacı Kasım Fountain in Tacettinveli District is entrusted to the Melikgazi Municipality, Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said that by repairing the historical structures of Anatolia, they will be entrusted to future generations as a legacy.
