Melikgazi Municipality May Supplementary Council Meeting was held with the participation of council members.

The main agenda item of the meeting, which was held in the Melikgazi Municipality Council Hall, was the "2025 Fiscal Year Budget Final Account Statements". In line with the commission report, the item submitted to the assembly was unanimously accepted with the support of all assembly members from all political parties. Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated that they are among the debt-free municipalities in Turkey, saying, “As Melikgazi Municipality, we are among the debt-free municipalities in Turkey, and we are at the forefront in the ranking of municipalities of our size. We have no loan debt and we generate our own resources. Our urban transformation efforts are going very well. We are making a significant contribution to our municipality by selling the apartments we obtain from urban transformation. We have no debt and our treasury is full. Our energy revenues are increasing every day, and we are converting our tax revenues into services in the most efficient way. Our number of personnel is less compared to other municipalities. As Melikgazi Municipality, we are undertaking significant investments. We are providing important services to a population of 600,000. We are the municipality that invests the most in Turkey. We are far ahead in investments such as schools, health centers, social facilities, and libraries. We have about 20 openings ahead of us. We continue our work without slowing down. I would like to thank our council members and colleagues who contributed to this.”
