The promotional program and rice festival for the "Deringöz Park and Pool" that Melikgazi Municipality, which attaches great importance to the aesthetics and green areas of the district, brought to Gürpınar Neighborhood, was held.

Saying that they have brought record services to the district in a short time and met its needs, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, "We continue to bring areas to our district where our citizens can breathe peacefully with their families, and where our children can play safely. A swimming pool in Gürpınar has always been a requested facility. Summer is over, but hopefully next year we will put the pool into operation in a beautiful way. Next year, we will send a swimming instructor here on certain days of the week, and our citizens who want to can learn to swim here. I promise you. Especially our children love to swim; let the people of Gürpınar take swimming lessons here. We have also identified some needs here, and I have given instructions to my colleagues. Hopefully, we will develop this place even more. I thank my colleagues for their efforts. We also brought a very beautiful park here. Hopefully, we will continue to bring such parks to all our neighborhoods. Of course, we also brought natural gas here. Currently, 95% of the problems related to natural gas have been solved. As a municipality, we continue to serve all our neighborhoods with good intentions together with my colleagues." We are the municipality that has built the most schools in Türkiye. We are the municipality that has built the most Quran courses, mosques, social facilities, and libraries. But the service we have provided the most is parks. We have built 366 parks. In other words, we are addressing the needs of our neighborhoods one by one. Thank God, we are a municipality that has no debt and does not take out loans. By providing all these services, we have made a great contribution to Melikgazi. One of the things we have done the most is urban transformation. We are producing thousands of apartments and shops in 10 different regions. We are creating modern, new neighborhoods. Therefore, we are experiencing a very successful process in urban transformation. As Melikgazi, we are perhaps the municipality that has carried out the most urban transformation in Türkiye. God willing, these works will continue in the future. May God keep our unity and solidarity strong. I wish that our Deringöz Park and Pool will be beneficial to the people of Gürpınar and to Melikgazi." He said.

Gürpınar Neighborhood Headman Mustafa Gül also gave a speech and thanked Mayor Palancıoğlu for the services provided.
