Melikgazi Municipality promoted the Gülük Social Life Center and then held a talk program titled "The Story of Labor and Women" with Turkish Ceramic Artist and Painter Günseli Kato as the speaker.

Saying that the social facility built in Gülük Neighborhood will host versatile activities with its wide usage areas and will contribute to social life, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "I liken being a mayor to being a housewife. There is 24/7 service. We have exactly 58 neighborhoods. We are trying to address the shortcomings of our neighborhoods. The social facility we built in Gülük Neighborhood turned out very well. It has received more interest than we expected. There is a library, Workshop Melikgazi, classrooms, a sports hall and a cafeteria here. As Melikgazi Municipality, we have brought 18 Smart Cube Libraries to our district. In our libraries, our young people study in a qualified and safe environment under certain rules. Women will produce in Workshop Melikgazi. The women's handmade home textile works will turn into products in Workshop Melikgazi. We will buy certain products by paying a fee per product. We are opening the first Workshop Melikgazi in Mimarsinan Neighborhood, God willing. Later, we will open Workshop Melikgazi in all our social facilities. Therefore, we will contribute a little to the household budget. Through the internet We will have sales in 2-3 languages. We will make agreements with large companies. Women are developing, socializing and spending useful time here. This place is yours. We will open different courses here as you request. Many of our trainees are also receiving training in our Art Melikgazi. In addition to these, we are renovating our old social facilities and giving them new functions. It is important that you take ownership of our social facilities. I would also like to thank Günseli Kato for participating in our program and giving a wonderful talk. I hope this facility will be beneficial to our district and Gülük Neighborhood.” She said. Turkish Ceramic Artist and Painter Günseli Kato also gave a speech, saying, “It makes us very happy to see women together here. Thanks to you, this country will take another step forward. And if a president like this stands by women and supports them, how wonderful. When I come to Anatolia, my soul brightens. I am very happy to be here. I wish the Gülük Social Life Center good luck.” She said. Gülük Neighborhood Headwoman Zeynep Akyurt thanked Mayor Palancıoğlu for the Gülük Social Life Center and other services provided to her neighborhood.
