For a more livable Melikgazi, Melikgazi Municipality, which continues its work to increase and modernize the social living spaces of the district residents, is continuing the Gesi Recreation Area Revision and Revitalization Works at full speed.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. examined the ongoing works at Gesi Recreation Area on site. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “I think there is no one in Türkiye who doesn't know Gesi Bağları and its folk song. We reviewed the work we did in the Gesi picnic area with my technical team. We are renovating the Gesi picnic area; we started the work this summer. It has become much larger and more magnificent. We built a beautiful waterfall here. We are also building ziplines, walking paths, and photo opportunities. The seating areas and barbecue areas are becoming very different and beautiful. Therefore, this place will serve the eastern region of Melikgazi and will be used intensively. Hopefully, we will complete this as soon as possible. With its renewed face, our picnic area will be used from the spring of 2027 until the end of summer. A very high-quality area is emerging. With its cafeteria, mosque, and social areas, it has become a beautiful project that will make a splash in Kayseri. I thank all my colleagues for their efforts.
