Reminding that there will be regular cleaning in the shrines now, The Mayor Dr. Palancioglu said, "We need to take care of our mosques and shrines, which are our spiritual values. As Melikgazi Municipality, we are acting with this consciousness. 

        In this context, our teams from the Environmental Protection Directorate carried out a general cleaning in the shrines where the graves of Islamic scholars and parents are located. We routinely clean our mosques at certain periods.

In addition, after that, we have started cleaning all the shrines in our district now. The cleaning staff carried out detailed cleaning in the burial and chest sections of the shrines, from washing the carpets to wiping the windows, disinfecting the ablutions and toilets, to cleaning the lighting. The officials who cleaned the interior of the mausoleums also carried out environmental cleaning in the courtyards and gardens.  I would like to thank my colleagues for their work, who helped us clean our shrines with high spirituality for our people and make it smell good with rose water.
