Melikgazi Municipality served ashura to the citizens in Cumhuriyet Square on the occasion of the Day of Ashura.

     Visiting the bazaar tradesmen with Mayor of Metropolitan Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, the Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu went to the municipality's stand and offered ashura.

     Wishing the Day of Ashura to be a means of unity and solidarity, Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, “We shared today's blessings with our fellow citizens by distributing Ashura together with our Mayor of Metropolitan in Cumhuriyet Square due to the Day of Ashura.May Allah not break our unity and solidarity. We are on the 10th day of Muharram.We are in spiritual days that should lead to unity and solidarity. We get together with our citizens by distributing ashura at many points throughout Kayseri. Thanks to our Melikgazi Municipality, our Mayor of Metropolitan Dr.Memduh Büyükkılıç also attended the ashura served. Thank you. Tomorrow we will have ashura distribution at Hunat Mosque. We will serve ashura at the opening of Fatma İmamoğlu Religious Education and Culture Centre, which we will open in Danışmentgazi District on Friday.
