Melikgazi Municipality police teams vaccinated the elderly patient who could not have the covid-19 vaccine at the health center by helping the couple.

                  Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "Our municipal police teams took the 50-year-old married couple, 76 and 79, Seyide-Mehmet Engür, to the health center to get the covid-19 vaccine.

Our Melikgazi police teams, who learned that the elderly who had difficulty walking due to the discomfort of their knees, could not go, took our elderly farmers to the health center, had them vaccinated and left them back to their homes.

As a municipality, we are trying to fulfil the wishes of our citizens as much as we can. It is our main duty to come to the aid of our people in these difficult days. My team and we are very happy to do this. Especially, our elderly people should pay attention to the warnings and listen to the statements made by the authorities. Our cleaning teams have done and continue to do disinfection in every corner of the city. As a municipality, we take every precaution to eradicate the epidemic. "
