Melikgazi Municipality opened the Ayten-Haci Ömer Kara Mosque, which was built with the cooperation of the municipality and philanthropist, in Germir District with the participation of AK Party Local Administrations Vice Chairman Mehmet Özhaseki. 

    In the opening program, AK Party Local Administrations Vice Chairman Mehmet Özhaseki, Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, AK Party Kayseri Deputies Mustafa Elitaş, Taner Yıldız, İsmail Tamer, Hülya Nergis Atçı, Mayor of Kocasinan Ahmet Çolakbayrakdar, Mayor of Talas Mustafa Yalçın, District of Melikgazi Mufti Ahat Taşçı, AK Party Kayseri Provincial Chairman Şaban Çopuroğlu, AK Party Kayseri women's branch head Emine Timuçin, Melikgazi District Head of Gökhan Ülke, District Mayors and citizens attended. Reminding that services and investments were made in Melikgazi that could not be made in many provinces in 2 years, the Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, “There is a model made by our municipality in Kayseri. We work as Provincial Directorate of Health, Mufti, and Directorate of National Education.

   Our main duties are not to build schools, mosques, health centres, but we build facilities such as schools, mosques and health centres where needed. Our municipalities in Kayseri are working diligently in cooperation. May Allah grant us to do many good deeds together. We are making more than 30 investments in Melikgazi in 2 years. In order to meet the school needs of Melikgazi, around 12 schools are currently under construction. Construction of 8 mosques and construction of 7 mosques continue.We have made our target for 2024 so that there will be no need for a health center in Melikgazi. We will meet the need for the Mosque and Quran Course to a large extent. We are working to meet our school needs in Melikgazi. As a district, we make investments that cannot be made in many provinces. Allah bless you always. I wish our mosque Ayten- Haci Omer Kara all the best.” said. 

   Metropolitan Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç said, “Our philanthropist, who has made great efforts in the construction of the mosque and has recently passed away, May Allah have mercy on Hacı Ömer Kara, I wish his precious wife Ayten a long and healthy life.
