Mayor of Melikgazi Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, stating that a groundbreaking project that will bring a new breath to Kayseri and set a precedent in Turkey will soon be completed, inspected the ongoing works of Melikgazi Bazaar together with Kayseri Deputy Murat Cahid Cıngı and Melikgazi District Chairman Tayyar Şahin.

Reminding that Çarşı Melikgazi, which includes a restaurant named Sofra Melikgazi where local products, fruits, vegetables, and food items will be sold, along with a nursery, cafeteria, and our regional flavours, is nearing completion, Mayor Palancıoğlu said, 'In our Çarşı Melikgazi project, we inspected our bazaar with our esteemed Deputy Murat Cahid Cıngı, our AK Party Melikgazi District Chairman Mr. Tayyar Şahin, and our team. The Çarşı Melikgazi Project is one of the most exciting projects in the Melikgazi region. We are nearing completion here, it is 90% completed. The wooden claddings are slowly finishing. I hope that with the wrought irons and other minor works to be done, this place will be completed in a few months. It will be a wonderful place that will add colour to Kayseri. When completed, it will be a point of visit for guests coming to Kayseri. I hope that I believe it will serve as an example to many cities in Turkey. We will open it to the service of our fellow citizens from Kayseri soon. Good luck.'

Expressing that Kayseri deserves the best of everything, AK Party Deputy Murat Cahid Cıngı stated, 'Çarşı Melikgazi will be a new attraction centre that our Melikgazi Municipality will bring to our city. This project is very well done. Everything done has an impact on urban life. It resembles a 7-day open neighbourhood market and a small shopping mall, as seen in major cities in Europe. It has become a beautiful place that can meet people's kitchen needs, as well as their fruit and vegetable needs. It is an aesthetic, beautiful, and enjoyable venue with a blend of metal, stone, and wood. It has become an elite place. I congratulate our Mayor Mustafa; he has once again displayed his aesthetic taste here. Because now, it is not just about assigning a function to a project, but also about skilfully shaping it into a format that can be truly appreciated and enjoyed by people. This place will make a significant contribution to our urban life, commercial life, and our tradesmen. I congratulate Mayor Palancıoğlu and the employees of Melikgazi. Well done.'
