Melikgazi Municipality Mimarsinan completed the 1st stage of the improvement and landscaping work on the stream located in the Esnaf TOKİ in Bahçelievler District.

                 As a result of the studies, a large green area, park, walking paths, bridge and football field were built in the densely populated area.

 

                Mimarsinan made a field trip with his technical team in Bahçelievler District and examined the works done on site, Melikgazi Mayor Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, “This long stream here goes all the way to Mimar Sinan. Last year this place was in a really bad state.Unfortunately, when the work of the general directorate of state hydraulic works took longer, we built this place as a municipality to prevent our citizens from suffering.

We have completely arranged this place with green space as far as the eye can see and a walking path right next to it, afforestation and lighting. Now, hopefully, we plan the right side of the road.

In a year, we will make the stream beautiful by making it on the right side of the road in a similar format. So we are beautifying this area. As Melikgazi Municipality, we are currently working in 58 neighbourhoods. Every district in every neighbourhood has different needs. We built a bridge here so that the citizens can cross the stream. This was a work that really relieved Esnaf TOKİ.

In the same way, we will make the citizens of this region a little more comfortable by making one more continuation of this bridge. When the second stage is finished next year, a nice and decent region will be there. Best wishes." said.

              Bahçelievler Neighbourhood Headman Rukiye Köse thanked Melikgazi Municipality for the services and said, "May Allah be pleased with them. When we applied to the State general directorate of state hydraulic works, they said, "We cannot build this stream”. A population of 5 thousand people moved here. Tradesmen TOKİ was officially a dump, it was idle. Thank Allah, our president is very sensitive. Our citizens may be comfortable, he made a wonderful stream. In addition, walkways and a great bridge made a great robotic park and soccer field for kids. President, I am glad to have you, thank you very much.At the same time, it brought the qurban bazaar, which is a big problem in our neighbourhood. Our neighbourhood loves our Mayor very much.” he said.
