Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated that they have completed a major project in Erenköy Neighbourhood, specifically on Billur Avenue and Büyük Elmalı Avenue, ensuring improved transportation in the area.

Mayor Palancıoğlu emphasized that they worked with great dedication to ensure the improved transportation in the area, stating, 'We have completed a major project on Billur Avenue and Büyük Elmalı Avenue in Erenköy Neighbourhood. This area consists of a 1.5-kilometer uphill stretch. Especially with the impact of the Corona pandemic and earthquakes, there has been a significant increase in residential construction in these areas.'

The infrastructure, including natural gas, water, sewage, and storm water pipelines, along with subsequent works such as asphalt laying, sidewalk construction, and railing installation, have been completed as part of a comprehensive project. A beautiful infrastructure has emerged. Now, the advanced stages of work are ongoing in the aforementioned sections. I hope that the same projects will be carried out. After the earthquake, there has been a remarkable transformation towards horizontal architecture and houses with gardens. In this context, our efforts are also continuing. Therefore, Melikgazi Municipality places great importance on horizontal urbanization. In our Altınoluk Neighbourhood, we are planning to build 120 houses with gardens, surrounded by green spaces, schools, parks, and other social amenities, making it a beautiful and easily accessible area. Our houses with gardens will feature solar panels on their roofs to generate their own energy. I hope that such initiatives will continue.
