Melikgazi Municipality stops distorted construction from being a problem by destroying abandoned buildings without creating victimization. In this context, the demolition of the old abandoned buildings in Yıldırım Beyazıt Neighbourhood was carried out.

         The Mayor of Melikgazi, who conducted an inspection of the area by participating in the demolition study, Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu said, "We are starting with a nice study in our Yildirim Beyazit neighbourhood per week. We clean up the old abandoned buildings and slums in Melikgazi and make them suitable for construction. We're making it better around here. Demolition works are continuing in our different neighbourhoods such as Kazım Karabekir Battalgazi Gültepe, which we call old mahrums, especially in Yıldırım Beyazıt Neighbourhood, and in our different neighbourhoods such as Gültepe. We are removing abandoned buildings and distorted structures from being a problem in our Melikgazi without creating victimization or breaking hearts. So far, we have demolished and cleaned exactly 456 such buildings, and I thank my friends. It is really quite difficult to demolish a building; we get along by making everyone happy and eliminate such structures. Thanks to this, both safe places appear and environmental pollution is eliminated. Most of all, we will plan this place as a green space and provide parking services to our citizens.
