Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu made a statement on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and congratulated the whole Islamic world.

In his statement, "Due to the success achieved within the scope of the intensive vaccination campaign, I hope we will experience the holidays that we will celebrate together by embracing and hugging tightly, very soon." President Palancioglu said:

Pandemic has decreased a little, we have had our vaccines and we are starting our holidays as of this holiday. May Allah grant us to reach many holidays in unity, togetherness and peace. It is necessary to keep the precaution; the pandemic is not completely over. Therefore, let's follow the mask, distance and cleaning rules again. I recommend those who are not vaccinated to get their vaccine as soon as possible. I have had my vaccinations myself and there are no side effects, thank goodness I have not had a problem. Hopefully, we will get rid of the epidemic as soon as possible after you have your vaccinations. It is close to reach beautiful holidays, hand in hand, by hugging again as in the old days.
