Melikgazi Municipality has started demolition works for the urban transformation project of 233 flats, consisting of 6 blocks, to be implemented on Şükran Caddesi in Yıldırım Beyazıt Mahallesi.

       Announcing the demolition work with a visual press conference, the Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioğlu said, “We are sharing the good news of a new urban transformation work in Yıldırım Beyazıt District with the press. We have done great work in Yıldırım Beyazıt.We moved our wreckers to Yeşilyurt and made this place a clean and decent place.

We demolished 65 shanty houses along the canal and built a wide road in 3 lanes, including round trips. Sami İpek Boulevard, one of the most beautiful roads in Kayseri, has emerged.

Demolition of 6 slums will continue. I would like to thank my colleagues in the municipality. The biggest profit of our municipality from this work is the blessing; at the same time, the environment becomes a beautiful and clean area. The area we are in is a total area of 13 thousand 800 square meters. Here we currently have 95 beneficiaries. 37 houses will be demolished. Today we are destroying 6 of them. Some of the houses are demolished by our citizens themselves. So we will clean this place. We ensure that anyone can evacuate this place comfortably without any hassle. Hopefully, when we complete the agreement with everyone, we will tender the project and start laying the foundation." Said 

       Stating that the face of Yıldırım Beyazıt will change with new studies, President Mustafa Palancıoğlu said: “We are in the first phase of a project of 233 flats consisting of 6 blocks. We are building 48 110 square meters, 2+1 flats, 78 135 square meters 3+1 flats and 146 square meters 3+1 flats. Finally, we will have built 84 4+1 flats of 171 square meters. May Allah grant us to finish it without any accident. We aim to deliver the buildings with the landscaping by the end of the summer of 2023. With this arrangement, Yıldırım Beyazıt's face will change. I hope that the apartments we will build will be beneficial. I would like to thank all the institutions and my colleagues who provided all kinds of support.”
