Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. visited the English Summer Camp, which has been continuing for 5 weeks at Gesi Camp Center with the participation of many students. Mustafa Palancıoğlu met with the students and gave them their certificates.

Stating that they provide all kinds of support to children and young people with events and various trainings in the district, Mayor Palancıoğlu said, “As Melikgazi Municipality, we are doing many colorful events. The most important of these is the English education camps we organize at our camp center in Gesi. Our children are participating in the training camps we have been organizing here for 5 weeks. We pick them up from in front of our municipality with a shuttle at 08.30 in the morning and deliver them to their families at 16.30 in the evening. Our students Here, they not only receive education, but they also make technical visits to the projects we conduct and gain different skills by engaging in various handicrafts. Children participating in our camp socialize alongside their education, contributing to their development. We have completed our 5th English summer camp this summer. I especially thank Ms. Nilgün Karsan, Lecturer at Erciyes University, our interns from the English department, and all the municipal staff who contributed. They are taking care of our children here. I also especially thank all the families for sending their children to such a colorful educational program. Hopefully, we will announce different educational programs to you soon. I recommend that all children not miss our educational programs and activities. We are waiting for our young people and children to participate in these programs.”
