Melikgazi Municipality is carrying out cleaning and maintenance work in the cemeteries in the district so that citizens can visit the cemeteries comfortably and peacefully before the upcoming Eid al-Adha. The municipality is preparing the cemeteries for the holiday.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, reminding that landscaping, cleaning and maintenance-repair works are routinely carried out in the cemeteries in our district, and that special care is taken during holidays, said the following:

"Before Eid al-Adha, there is a meaningful rush and intensity among our citizens, as well as among us. The tree pruning, grass cutting, maintenance, repair and cleaning works that are regularly carried out in the cemeteries in our district by our Cemeteries Directorate are carried out regularly. As with every holiday, this holiday is being prepared with extra care beforehand. Thus, we are making our cemeteries ready for our citizens' holiday visits. I would like to thank all our teams who are striving to make it easier for citizens to visit graves in a more comfortable environment. May the Eid al-Adha of all our fellow citizens be blessed in advance.”
