Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu visited the municipal asphalt construction site, examined the works on site and received information about the work to be done.

Stating that they will continue to produce asphalt and build new asphalt roads for more comfortable and serial roads in 2021, Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “I examined the works in the asphalt construction site of our Melikgazi Municipality. Last year, we laid 170 thousand tons of asphalt and 170 kilometers of asphalt. We built comfortable asphalt roads in 2020, I hope this year, with the arrival of spring in 2021, we have started to produce asphalt and to build a new asphalt road. We started our asphalt plant today and started work. May Allah Almighty make good services without any accident and trouble. Melikgazi is one of the most densely populated districts with a population of nearly 600 thousand. That is why having a lot of traffic causes the asphalt to be very old and new roads are needed. We have new ways to renew, as we will do new roads this year. Therefore, the year 2021 will be full of services. I thank my road and transportation team for their efforts. With the production of the asphalt plant, the teams of the Transportation Services Directorate will carry out road construction, repair and asphalt paving works in many needed parts of the district during the spring and summer months.
