Melikgazi Municipality, which works to make transportation safer and more comfortable in rural neighbourhoods, has started road construction works in Kıranardı District.

      Stating that they continue to work on the infrastructure and superstructure in the district as well as the fight against coronavirus, Melikgazi Mayor Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “Our teams, which are working intensively on asphalting and road renovation, continue to beautify our district by completing the maintenance and repair works of damaged and worn roads. Our work has started in our neighbourhood, including Lale Street, 2891. Street, Nilüfer Street entrance and 1 connection road.

1250 tons of asphalt and 3750 tons of infrastructure materials are used on the road with a total length of 1 kilometre. In order to solve the infrastructure of the neighbourhood roads for a long time, the teams, which focus on foundation and filling works, carry out asphalt coating work on the roads whose infrastructure has been completed.Our road works from the centre to the countryside continue uninterruptedly. As a municipality, our services continue both in the city and in rural areas.

Last year, the correction works we did on the land roads in the villages within the borders of our district, the cobblestone, pavement and hot asphalt, landscaping works we did in the countryside and in our district centre. As Melikgazi Municipality, we will continue our work.” said.
