Melikgazi Municipality, which has added a new one to its health investments, held the groundbreaking ceremony of the Asım-Türkan Balcı Family Health Center-112 Emergency Station, which will be implemented in Bahçelievler Neighborhood with the cooperation of Melikgazi Municipality and philanthropists, with great enthusiasm.

Melikgazi Municipality, which has broken records with the family health centers it has implemented in many parts of the district so that citizens can easily receive health services in their own neighborhoods without experiencing transportation difficulties, has also managed to make the residents of Bahçelievler Neighborhood smile.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Melikgazi Municipality Mayor Assoc. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated the following:

“ Today, we are starting a beautiful program. We are in one of the places where the Erciyes view is the most beautiful. Together with the philanthropist Balcı family, we will build the family health center and 2 pharmacies next to it. We work with many philanthropists in our projects such as schools, mosques, and family health centers. I think Kayseri is the city that carries out the most philanthropic projects in Türkiye. We are experiencing the blessing of unity and working together. I would like to thank our philanthropists. Our President declared 2025 as the Year of the Family. Many studies are being carried out within this scope. It is extremely important that the foundations of family health centers are laid in the Year of the Family. Our citizens receive health services in their neighborhoods, without experiencing transportation problems, where they are. As someone who has spent a long time abroad, I can say how cheap, high-quality, I am someone who knows that it is fast. We have seen this during the Covid-19 pandemic and disasters. We would like to thank our healthcare professionals for their devoted work.” he said.

A PARK WAS ALSO PROMISED TO BAHÇELİEVLER NEIGHBORHOOD!

Stating that they are among the municipalities that make the most investments in Türkiye, Mayor Palancıoğlu gave the good news that they will bring a park to the region in addition to a family health center and continued his words as follows:

“ We are the municipality that built the most schools, health centers and parks in Türkiye. The number of our parks has exceeded 200. We will also bring a family health center to this region Let me give you the good news that we will bring a beautiful park together with the center! We will also build a football field inside. May God make the future of our children beautiful. In September, God willing, we will open the Melikgazi Municipality Mehmet Altun Aviation and Space Sciences High School. A middle school will also be opened next to it. It will be the first Aviation Vocational Middle School in Türkiye, together with the high school. The future of our children means the future of our country. We will make investments related to them together. May our family health center be auspicious for Melikgazi.”

Philanthropist Asım Balcı expressed his hope to be together at the opening ceremony of the family health center, the foundation of which was laid today, and thanked Mayor Palancıoğlu and his team.

Kayseri Provincial Health Director Dr. Mehmet Erşan said, “I am one of the 3 luckiest Provincial Health Directors in Türkiye. With the help of our benefactors and the support of our municipalities, we are able to access these facilities at every point we need. Family health centers are very valuable to us. Melikgazi District Governor Sedat Sırrı Arısoy stated that Kayseri has come a long way and has set an incredible example with its benefactors.
