Highlighting the 6000 square meters park recently introduced to the city centre by Melikgazi Municipality, Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu mentioned that they would revitalize the stone building within the park, the former Nazmi Toker School, and transform it into a cultural and arts centre, providing a breath of fresh air to the market area.

Mayor Palancıoğlu, stating that the project is nearing completion, said, 'With our project that will breathe new life into the city centre, we are bringing to life one of the most exquisite and beautiful parks in Kayseri. We have transformed a 6000 square meter area into a park that will provide a breath of fresh air to the centre of Kayseri. It now features parking on all four sides. A very elegant and beautiful park has emerged, and our citizens are very pleased.'

Our landscaping efforts are still ongoing. It has become one of the most beautiful projects brought to the centre of Kayseri. I hope that when the interior work of the stone building restoration is completed, we will have added an art centre to Kayseri. There will be various workshop activities here, such as ceramics, oil painting, mosaic, and music education. We will start furnishing the project in 1-2 months, and we hope to inaugurate it together. We have various projects that will breathe life into the city centre of Kayseri.

We will organize various events related to festivals, handicrafts, and an antique market. We will bring a new breath to Kayseri. However, most importantly, we have added a large green space here. Wishing it brings goodness and prosperity.
